Flow Fit
is a low friction mobile app that offers minimal and meaningful visual summaries and helps remain consistent in their chaotic life

1. Issue
For many young adults who are health conscious but have busy schedules, existing wellness apps feel overwhelming and time consuming. They require more input and attention that users are willing or able to give.

1.5. Solution
By following Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, we priorities a water, step and mood tracker which provides users with meaningful insights and gentle nudges to improve their health on their busy lives.

4. Changes
In response, we refined our design focus to more intentionally support users with irregular or demanding schedules, particularly university students managing both academic commitments and part-time work, as represented by our persona, William.
These individuals often struggle with health routines not because of a lack of motivation, but due to unpredictable schedules, fluctuating responsibilities, and mental fatigue. This iteration repositions the app as a context-aware wellness tool. Rather than delivering generic reminders or feedback, the app now adapts its support based on user behaviour and routines. For example, hydration or mood reminders may adjust to the user’s shift schedule, and the app may surface patterns such as “you often feel low energy after late shifts” or “hydration drops at the end of the week.”

This revised focus allows FlowFit to stand out in a crowded market by offering personalised, flexible wellness support that aligns with the real-world constraints and needs of busy students.

2. Persona
After completing our research, we conducted 30 minute interviews, which helped create our persona, William Tran. Our interviewees consisted of young adults seeking to improve their health and wellbeing. They all currently study full time as well as juggling a part time job on the side

3.5. Further Feedback
After gaining feedback the app felt like a duplicate of the apple health tracker. The elements were similar to Apple’s and weren’t unique. This prompted our team to rethink the purpose of why we’re creating the app and who it’s for. (If people are willing to download and actually use it)

3. Wireframing
I took the role of creating the high fidelity prototypes in Figma, adjusting along wth my team
